Why should I choose Focus Home Inspection to do my inspection?

First and foremost; my experience and my communication skills. The average home inspector has 11 years of experience in the home construction and inspection industry. I have 32. I am a Licenced Home Inspector with Consumer Protection BC, Member of the Home Inspectors Association of BC, a Master Builder, Certified Renovating Professional, Certified Housing Professional, Master Carpenter and I am always in training.

A discussion and subsequent report are of no use to you if you can’t understand them. My decades of experience in one on one discussions with clients in the Lower Mainland have taught me how to best communicate on a level that covers the issues at hand in terms that anyone can comprehend free of jargon and ‘contractor speak’.

A highly technical approach is required in every inspection, a highly technical explanation is not. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about your home in the years that follow. I love helping people, so hang on to my number 😊

Before we can book an Inspection there are a few important details and questions that need to be answered:

  • Name
  • Current address
  • Phone number(s)
  • Email
  • Type of property
  • Square footage of the house
  • Is there a basement, crawlspace, Slab on grade, not sure
  • Address to be inspected
  • Sellers Realtor phone number and email
  • Buyers Realtor phone number and email
  • Concerns specific to the inspection
  • Who will attend?
  • Who will provide access?
  • Is there anyone other than yourself you would like to receive the report?
  • How did you hear about Focus Home Inspection?
  • During COVID-19 protocol, do you know the health history of the current occupants? If not, please provide a contact number for the seller or representative of the seller of the property.
